Wow, I am surprised to not see much in the way of reviews or setlists for
Roseland yet. I won't post a setlist for either night, because the order
is way off in my memory - I'll leave that for someone more organized than
me!

I just want to say briefly that last night's Sat Roseland show was the
best Phish show I've ever seen. The setlist was great, the jamming was
outa control, the band was totally into it. So much energy up ther, even
compared to Friday night!

We kind of expected John Popper to make an appearance, but his
contribution was so exciting just the same, we were psyched to see him
take the stage for Buried Alive->Possum. He sat back behind Fishman hidden
under a black sheet for the whole second set before he came out, poor guy!

If y'all haven't heard yet, Noel Redding, as in the Jimi Hendrix
Exoperience, joined the band for the Fire encore. What an incredible
treat!!! It was nice how it was set up too, the band started Fire and Mike
intentionally screwed up so that Trey ousted him and pulled out Noel! Mike
hung out for awhile just watchjing, but eventually sidled up next to Page
and played some keyboards. Yummy.

After the show, we went to the Wetlands(thank you Jessica!!!!!!!!!) for
the Shockra party, I had it from a friend of Phish that a/some member sof
the band would be there. After a long wait in very cold Greenwich Village,
we made it inside around 2 AM. Shockra was unbelievable, and around 2:30,
Fishman took the stage sans dress but with vacuum and added his sucking to
the jam. He came back up later during an intense bass solo and read some
new age poetry about souls and the universe or something, I think he was
being sarcastic, I don't know! He was friendly signing autographs. I told
him I enjoyed the show and he said that the band had had a really good
show also.

I heard that Trey and Mike were jamming at the post-show jam Friday
night at the Ritz, didn't make that one, but I would love to hear about it
from anyone who did.

Thank you to everyone who made my weekend possible and incredible - Doug
Coe, Jessica Harris - I love you!!!!!!! I was so glad to finally meet Matt
Laurence and Rob Johnson and Chip(i forget your last name, sorry!) and to
see Shally again, oops I meant Shelly.

Now if anyone has any tapes.......

:):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):)

no regrets! (The curtain - ahhhhhhh! thanks guys!)
